The Hula Valley, Israel’s bird paradise

Twice a year, 500 million birds fly through Israel on their migration routes, and many of them stop to rest and fuel up for their journey at Lake Hula.

Israel’s Hula Valley in the Upper Galilee is one of the most significant birding sites in the world, as it sits on the migration route between Europe and Africa.
