Latina pop icon Jennifer Lopez will perform at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park this summer, according to a report in the local Ynet news site.
It will be Lopez’s first show in Israel.
The American singer who also goes by the monikers, J.Lo and ‘Jenny from the Block,’ is the latest big name on Israel’s hot summer lineup of music acts with Sia, Deep Purple, Julio Iglesias and Elton John also confirming shows.
Lopez, 46, is one of America’s wealthiest entertainers. In addition to being a popular singer, she is also a celebrated actor, author, dancer, fashion designer, producer, songwriter and television personality.
J.Lo turned heads recently in a People Magazine fashion spread that saw her decked out in an exclusive Israeli bridal and evening haute couture masterpiece gown.
