While American band DNCE continues to serve up its irresistible funky hit “Cake by the Ocean,” the Tel Aviv Museum of Art has announced plans to serve up art by the sea.

The Tel Aviv beach has been transformed into an art gallery between May 26 and June 26, 2016.

The outdoor exhibition, held in cooperation between the Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, is showcasing some of the museum’s selected works by Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, Kandinsky and Van Gogh on the backdrop of the city’s famous blue waters and golden sand beaches.

The artworks at the beach are reproductions, of course. The originals are hanging safely — away from sand grains, sunscreen and sun exposure — and can be viewed at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
