24 nations take part in Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix

Over 250 athletes – including Olympians – are in Holon for the international tournament.

Israel’s top rhythmic gymnasts are hoping to twirl to success at this weekend’s prestigious Grand Prix event being held in Holon. Over 250 gymnasts from 24 countries are taking part in the March 28-29, 2014 contest.

Israel’s competitors include Olympian Neta Rivkin, Nataly Mendelson and Victoria Filanovsky.

Since 2001, Holon has hosted the Grand Prix tournament.

Among the countries taking part are Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Spain, Finland, Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
